Singer Banky W has reacted to the suspension of the Microblogging platform Twitter by the federal government. The singer in a series of tweets slammed the government for its action and also called out elected representatives who have stayed silent on the matter.
The father of one shared that Nigerian leaders are clueless about the plight of the people but choose to focus on a social media platform. He explained that now is a good time for elected officials to speak and fight for those who elected them into office but they have found their positions as a shortcut and retirement home.

He shared that anyone above 65 should not be elected into public office because they cannot effectively deliver their role to the country. Banky explained that being young might not not mean great leadership but a younger candidate understands the needs of the citizens.
