Youths in Osogbo, Osun State have reportedly taken to the streets, protesting the arrest by Nigeria’s anti-graft agency, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC on youths, stopping another from taking place.
Recall that reports filled the air about 2 weeks ago of officials of the agency bursting some areas in Ibadan, breaking in and destroying the homes housing male youths to arrest them, in the name of being internet fraudsters (yahoo boys).
Multiple reports have surfaced on Twitter today again, with pictures of the youths mounting a road block and carrying placards, demanding why the South West is always a suspicious area for the EFCC, and not the North.
