The streets of Twitter is going agog and Ooni of Ife is one of the top trends as Nigerians discuss FG’s plan to spend 78 million naira on Madagascar’s herbal cure for COVID-19.
Recall that KOKO TV reported how the Giant of Africa’s FG received the COVID-19 Organics sent in by the island country lying off the southeastern coast of Africa.
Speculations, however, have been flying around that the Herbal cure will cost Nigeria a whooping sum of 170,000 Euros, equivalent to 78m.
This, did not go down well with Nigerians and they faulted the FG for having to pay such outside the country when it could have adopted Ooni’s herbal recommendation and make a great thing out of the country.
A Twitter influencer @DrOlufunmilayo is also under serious fire as he is one of those who criticised Ooni’s recommendation, saying he is not a virologist or a medical doctor to have come up with such cure. He, however, shot himself in the leg today when he condemned the FG of not looking inwards for cure. See some of the reactions below:
