Ace Afrobeats singer Seun Kuti has thrown epic shade at Wizkid on social media over his Grammy award win. The singer in a video shared on social media indirectly dragged Starboy stating that only 4 Nigerian artists have been nominated for the Grammy’s while the others are only banking on features.
In the video, the singer stated that only he, His brother Femi Kuti, King Sunny Ade, and Burna Boy has been nominated for a Grammy while the others are attaching or featuring. He shared that when you are featured on a song you do not win the Grammys. Seun Kuti explained that anyone who wins through a feature cannot claim they won a Grammy in their country.
Fans have reacted to the clip stating that the sub is directed at singer Wizkid who won a Grammy at the 63rd Grammy Awards for BEST MUSIC VIDEO for hit single Brown Skin Girl which he featured on with singer Beyonce, Blue Ivy, and Saint Jhn.
