Omolola Ajayi, the Nigerian lady who cried out for help for being sold into slavery in Lebanon has been found and will be rescued.
Recall that KOKOTV reported how Omolola had cried out for help in a viral video, narrating her ordeals and those of others. She noted that their phones were seized and they were not given proper care when they fall sick to the extent that many others that were sold into slavery like that had died. She noted further that she was trafficked on the guise that she was going to teach English language.
Stepping into the matter and revealing her rescue, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, the Chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission noted that the person responsible for her trafficking has now been arrested. Read also:Â “Please Save Me, I Don’t Want To Die”, Enslaved Nigerian Lady Cries For Help
“The alleged trafficker has been arrested and will be handed over to NAPTIP. The family of the lady have been traced ..Kwara Gov is personally on the matter. All hands on deck to ensure the trafficked lady returns“, she said.
