According to reports, it has been revealed that police visited Wendy Williams earlier this year to check up on her after they received a tip that she was being poisoned by her now estranged husband, Kevin Hunter. The call was revealed to have been from someone who claimed to be working for Wendy’s production company. The anonymous caller claimed Wendy was being poisoned and he or she wanted the cops to check up on her.
 The report says two officers went to Williams’ New Jersey residence and were greeted by Hunter, who was hesitant to let them in for the welfare check because he said Wendy was sick and recovering from a health problem. The authorities then explained to Hunter that they needed to speak with Wendy as regard the call. Kevin afterwards allowed them in, to which the cops found the talk show host “with the blanket covering from neck to toe.” 
It was then reported that one of the officers asked to see Wendy alone, but Kevin was hesitant. Upon being questioned, Wendy told the officers she had a broken shoulder. She, however, broke down to tears when she was asked if she was being poisoned or not.
