The great English derby of the two most successful teams in England, between Manchester United and Liverpool, ended in an embarrassing thrashing of the Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side at Old as a Mohammed Salah led Liverpool side put 5 past David De Gea, Salah scoring a beautiful har-trick.
The first half of the game was a complete route, which ended 4 nil, with United receiving 4 yellow cards in the first 45-minutes.

The second half started in an almost similar fashion, with Mohammed Salah scoring his third goal of the game with the first five minutes of the restart of the match.
And just some four minutes later, Paul Pogba who only came on in the second half was sent off for a dangerous tackle on Naby Keita that left him, needing medical attention, and finally getting stretched off. He wasn’t the only one that had to get taken off by Jurgen Klopp over injury concerns as earlier in the first half James Milner was also substituted for Curtis Jones also over injury concerns.
This defeat is Solsjkaer’s second-heaviest defeat in the space of 2-seasons at Old Trafford and his sides 5 defeats in just 9-games into the season.
