26-years-old former UFC star, Rodrigo De Lima has been murdered in an alleged hit and run incident after he had an altercation with a uber driver. Rodrigo was said to have been murdered in Brazil after his UFC welterweight friend Michel Prazeres shared that he was hit from behind by an Uber driver on Sunday, April 21st.
According to the news, Rodrigo was travelling in the Uber with his friends when he and the driver began arguing. The driver was said to have returned to run Rodrigo over after he drove away at first. Rodrigo’s death case is currently under investigation by the civil police. The two time UFC fighter and Jungle Fight welterweight champion is survived by his wife Nathalia Margalho and their two children.
