Oh No, Not Again! 41 Abducted By Unknown Gunmen In Birnin Gwari

 New reports confirm that 41 people have been kidnapped by unknown gunmen in Birnin Gwari local government area of Kaduna state in two separate attacks. The abductions reportedly took place in the last 24 hours. Chairman of National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Danladi Idon Duniya, confirming the incident said two vehicles; a bus and a Golf 3 saloon, travelling along the Birnin Gwari road were stopped by the men and all 17 passengers kidnapped. Another 24 passengers, mostly traders, who were travelling in a commercial bus, were also kidnapped near Labi village along the same route yesterday May 23rd. The victims were reportedly heading to Kano to purchase goods. The NURTW chairman confirmed that the reports he has been getting confirm that all the 24 abductees were taken into the bush.
