Based on report, the Obafemi Awolowo University is said to have began exams on Monday despite the ASUU strike. According to Abiodun Olarenwaju, the university’s public relations officer, “There’s nothing that suggests we are going to extend any calendar.

Don’t let us be speculative, when we get to the bridge we will cross it. The senate of the university is in charge of the academic activities, if they find it fine to extend, they will and if not, there’s nothing anybody can do about it.

Concerning OAU exams, I heard there’s a department that has class, test and examination on the same day. I just have a few questions: is there nobody to fight for us? Is there nothing that can be done? Is this how far we have been marginalised and rendered powerless?
