Nigeria international Ogenyi Onazi has ended his contract with Turkish topflight side Trabzonspor as a result of unpaid pays. Onazi, 24, who quit Serie A outfit Lazio on similar ground last summer, dumped the Super Lig side after playing the final two months of last season without receiving a dime.Trabzonspor, who signed the tough-tackling midfielder on a four-year-deal in August 2016, has so far refused to comment on the situation. He joins Algeria’s Carl Medjani and Ghana’s Majeed Waris who recently quit the Turkish club on the back of disputes over unpaid wages. Onazi recently captained the Super Eagles in their 2-0 home reverse to South Africa in the qualifier for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
