Peter Obi, Labour Party’s presidential candidate (LP), has been urged to be cautious over his supporters popularly known as Obidients.
Special Assistant to President Muhammaadu Buhari on Digital Communication, Bashir Ahmad has said Obidients are making his chances slimmer by the day.
Ahmad said Obidients are destroying Obi both home and abroad which will come back to haunt his political reputation.
In a tweet, the presidential aide noted that Obidients may soon destroy Obi beyond redemption.
He wrote: “No matter how people see it, Peter Obi’s so-called supporters, the headless mob, are damaging him at home and abroad and making his chances slimmer daily.
“He may not see it now until they destroy him beyond redemption. As for us, politically, we love to see it. That’s politics.”
Obi is currently at the Presidential election tribunal challenging the victory of the President-elect, Bola Tinubu.
The LP flagbearer, who came third, had insisted that he won the presidential election but was robbed of his victory.
