Obasanjo is back on the field and he’s ready to give all it takes to win Ekiti and the 2019 presidential election for his political party, PDP, in a bid to “rescue our nation”.

Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo is holding a closed-door meeting with top PDP chieftains in Abeokuta. Obasanjo had recently visited Governor Fayose in Ekiti, and Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode in Abuja.

The Peoples Democratic Party national chairman, Uche Secondus, Board of Trustee Chairman, Senator Walid Jubrin, Chief Bode George, former Senate President, Adolphus Wabara, and members of the National Working Committee of the party among others, are involved in the private meeting with Obasanjo. The meeting is holding in Oke Ona hall, the Green Legacy chamber in the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library complex, Abeokuta.

“We want to meet with baba Obasanjo to encourage him to fight on. He is a warrior, he is a winner. We are not meeting him on personal ground. It is on our struggle to rescue our nation,” Secondus said before going into the Saturday meeting.
