NYSC Hands Over 65 Corps Members To Police Over Fake Certificates

NYSC BEGIN COVID-19 VACCINATION OF CORPS MEMBERS
The National Youth Service Corps NYSC scheme has handed over about 65 corps members to the Nigerian Police for allegedly presenting fake certificates to the scheme on registration.

According to reports, the suspected corps members were discovered and fished out from different NYSC camps all over the country during the 2019 Batch B Stream II orientation course. Recall that the NYSC is set to combat all forms of fraud as it announced its collaboration with the anti-graft agency Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in July to put an end to the mobilisation of unqualified graduates for the one-year mandatory national service. Some of the defaulters are Nasiru Yau, Sheu Muktar, Iliyasu Usman, Offor Blessing Chinelo, Mezenwa Ngozi Chidinma, Nwachukwu Chimaobi Curtis, Ononuju Amarachi Nwamaka, Francis Joseph Arinze, and Chigozie Evidence Chijioke.
