I Didn’t Say That — AY Makun Steers Clear Off Anti-End SARS Post

Nigerian comedian AY Makun has cleared his name off a Facebook post made via his verified page.
The anti-End SARS post which was shared in the heat of the Lekki Toll Gate block and Surulere protests noted that the blockage is not necessary as the Police IG had slated a meeting with Davido and a few more concerned youths. See post below:
This angered Nigerian youths that they forgot the comedian has been tweeting and sharing IG posts about the ongoing war, and dragged him like a tiger generator. Taking to the streets of Twitter to clear his name, he reeled out curses to prove he does’t handle the page. Meanwhile, a closer look at the page (after the post has been taken down) says it is a fan page.

The post on Facebook has been brought to my notice.May death take me before my time and claim everything that I have been blessed with if I truly put that up. I have always stood firmly with #EndSARS campaign with all my tweets here and on Instagram. I do not handle that page“, he tweeted.
