Not Again! Multiple Attacks Claim 13 Lives In Benue

A series of combined attacks in separated locations claimed the lives of not less than 13 people in Benue state on Sunday.
Punch correspondents reported that while cattle rustlers launched a fresh attack in Kwande Local Government Area, a gang of unknown gunmen created a bloodbath in Otukpo Local Government Area of the state.
Residents in Kwande Local Government Area claimed that some Fulani herdsmen in the early hours of Sunday invaded Tseadough, a village in Mbachom, Kwande Local Government Area of Benue State, where they killed seven people.
The herdsmen were also said to have injured six others and taken a woman from the village captive and burnt down several houses in the area.
In Otukpo, a group of suspected cultists were said to have clashed, leaving six people dead. The cult groups on Sunday morning took over the ancient town, brandishing guns and cutlasses.
