There has been a new record of attack perpetrated in Michika town in Adamawa state. This was carried out by gunmen who were suspected to be Boko Haram members. According to a report from the area, the suspected insurgents invaded the town and left many dead people in their wake. The entire local government was deserted after sporadic gunshots were fired everywhere. 
Confirming the incident, the Commissioner of Information and Strategy for the state, Ahmad Sajoh shared that the military is on top of the situation. He added that the insurgents entered through Kirchinga village in neighboring Madagali local government, and were being chased out by the military which had deployed reinforcement, “they burnt the First Bank in Michika and some shops”.Photo Credit: Getty
