South African actress Nomzamo Mbatha to star in Coming 2 America.
South African actress Nomzamo Mbatha has announced that she will be starring in Craig Brewer’s comedy movie, Coming 2 America.

The 30-year-old Human Rights Activist has joined the cast of Coming to America, a sequel to the 1988 comedy which featured Eddie Murphy. She took to Twitter send out series of tweets about her new role which has seen fans home and abroad flooding her with congratulatory messages.Nomzamo Mbatha To Star In Coming 2 AmericaThe actress, known as Thandeka on the Mzansi Magic soapie, Isibaya had moved to the Los Angeles, US earlier this year to pursue her acting dreams, in the hope that projects such as these will be available to her. Although she is her dream role, Mbatha said she is speechless to be part of such a big project.

In one of her tweets, she wrote, “To God be the glory. It is truly unreal to me. The sacrifices have paid off. The goal was never insurmountable, but rather a path of commitment, diligent work, and sacrifices by me and my team.

Mbatha and American actress Garcelle Beauvais are the latest additions to the cast, which will also feature other new cast members Jermaine Fowler, Wesley Snipes, Tracy Morgan, Leslie Jones, KiKi Layne, Rick Ross, Teyana Taylo along the original cast of Eddie Murphy (Prince Akeem), James Earl Jones (King Jaffe Joffer) and Arsenio Hall (Semmi).
