The Yoruba entertainment industry mourns again as the veteran Nollywood actor Prince Adewale Adeyemo dies on Monday morning.
The actor was said to have passed on after battling illness.
The news of his death was confirmed by fellow actor Kunle Afod through a post on his Instagram page.
Sharing a picture of the deceased, Afod wrote a message expressing his condolences, “Hmmmm God you know best. Rest in peace Prince Adewale Adeyemo. He passed on early hours of today after a brief illness. God will comfort all his family, friends and colleagues.”

This sad event came hours after the Yoruba film industry held a night of tribute for another late actor, Murphy Afolabi, who passed away on May 14, 2023.
Adeyemo, the veteran actor, was diagnosed with lung, liver, and kidney problems in 2021. He raised donations from the general public and was able to have a successful surgery.

Many Nollywood actors, including Yinka Quadri, Fathia Williams, Kemi Korede, Itele, and others, have expressed their condolences on social media
Recall, that the industry has lost six actors this month.
