Model Hailey Baldwin has defended her marriage with Justin Bieber while celebrating their first wedding anniversary together.
The duo shocked fans when they tied the knot in secret last year, and it seems they have been fighting off internet trolls ever since. However, when appearing on the cover of Vogue Australia, the 22-year-old insisted that they’re a match made in heaven.
‘Nobody from the outside really knows what’s going on between us,’ she explained to the publication.
‘When I had hundreds of thousands of comments bombarding me with: ”He’s never going to this”, ”you’re never going to that”, ”you’ll be divorced by then”, you can’t help but wonder: ”Does someone see something that I don’t see?”’
But through it all, the pair are stronger than ever, as the model noted: ‘But the only two people in a relationship are the two people in it.’
Hailey and Justin are set to say their vows all over again, as they’re reportedly going to have their official wedding in South Carolina on 30 September.
The pair originally wed in a registry office in New York and had been planning a bigger affair in the form of a religious blessing with their family and friends.
