Michael B. Jordan covers Essence’s June 2018 issue which hit newsstands on May 25.
The “Black Panther” actor is looking absolutely fabulous in the latest photoshoot, showing off his rippling six-pack on the cover. Fans of the 31-year-old celebrity would have expected to see him do the Wakanda forever salute just like his Black Panther co-star, Chadwick Boseman who recently admitted he’s “sick and tired” of doing the salute all the time.
Michael and the cast of Black Panther were previously featured on special edition covers of the mag’s March issue. “S/O to the baby oil lady! She did her thang on this one ?. Honored to grace the cover of @essence for the 2nd time this year. Issue hits stands 5/25,” Michael wrote on his Instagram.
On alleged dating rumors that the actor doesn’t date Black women, he told the mag: “It’s so funny to everybody because it couldn’t be further from the truth,” he said. “My dad and my mom both said, ‘If they only knew.’ If they only knew. And that’s the thing that keeps me not tripping about it, you know what I mean?”
