No Vaccine For Anyone Under 18 – COVID-19 PTF

The Presidential Taskforce on COVID-19 has said that persons who are under 18 in Nigeria will not be getting the vaccine.
The Minister of State for Health, Olorunnimbe Mamora, made this known at the joint national briefing of the PTF ahead of the arrival of the Oxford-AstraZeneca COVID-19 doses in the country today. According to him, the Federal Government has plans to give out the doses to 70 per cent of Nigerians within two years but to people who are of the legitimate age.

Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha and other prominent Nigerians will be among the first set of Nigerians to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
