Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi has again defended his movie, Oko Iyabo, insisting that no part of it undermines the victim of Baba Ijesha’s alleged defilement and molestation or any girl child.
Recall that the actor had been bashed by Nigerians and summoned by the Theater Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria, TAMPAN. Speaking in a new video he put out, Yomi Fabiyi insists that his movie is in no way undermining the victim or other victims of rape or molestation. First, he slammed social media critics who have trolled him heavily about the movie, asking if they think his career and life is something built around social media that they can destroy.

Making God his witness, the director went further to say his conscience is crystal clear to God and people should not let critics plant anything wrong in their heads. “God sees my conscience. No part of my movie Oko Iyabo undermines the girl child. So don’t let them play anything into your head”, he said.
