Cosmetics and fashion mogul Kim Kardashian has chosen and announced a new name for her shapewear line, after she was seriously slammed for the first name she chose, Kimono.
The 38-year-old TV personality took to Instagram to reveal that the new line will be called SKIMS, appreciating her fans for the feedback and their help in selecting a better name. She noted that they are a huge source of inspiration to her and she is always listening to their feedback and opinions. She then announced that the shapewear will be launching in September 10.
Posting a picture of herself and models of various sizes donning the piece, the mother of four wrote, “My fans and followers are a huge inspiration to me – I’m always listening to their feedback and opinions, and am so grateful they shared their ideas for a new brand name.

After much thought and consideration, I’m excited to announce the launch of SKIMS Solutionwear coming September 10.
