The Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa has promised that no innocent Nigerian will suffer unjustly in Ghana.
This is coming as her reaction to the viral video of Nigerians being arrested at a border in Ghana. Recall that another Nigerian had been arrested in the African nation for perusing citizenship through illegal means.
Taking to her Twitter handle, Abike Dabiri noted that the Nigerian mission is getting in touch with Ghanaian authorities for a resolution of the case. She then added that the Commission will ensure that an innocent Nigerian will not suffer for what he didn’t do.

“A video has been circulating on Nigerians attested at a border in Ghana. The Nigerian mission has been engaging the Ghanaian authorities to resolve the matter , after reports of alleged escapees from a jail break in Nigeria were allegedly found trying to cross into Ghana. The Nigerian mission in Ghana will ensure that innocent Nigerians will not suffer for something they know nothing about while those guilty will face the law as we await updates from the mission”, she tweeted.
