Katy Perry and Taylor Swift finally bury their public feud as Taylor asked Katy to appear in her new music video, ‘You Need To Calm Down’. The star did not just invite Katy Perry to her video she also shared how they killed their age-long feud. The singer had been in dispute over back up dancers since 2014 with Taylor accusing Katy of stealing some of her dancers. The 29-year-old pop star revealed today during an appearance on Heart Breakfast on Wednesday morning that it was Katy that instigated their reunion, after sending an ‘actual olive branch’ on the first night of her Reputation Stadium tour in May last year. 
Taylor said: “We reconnected a while ago. It started when she sent an olive branch to, like an actual olive branch to my tour – on the first day of my Reputation Stadium tour and I was like, that is not only really cool and really sincere, the note but like, very clever with sending an actual olive branch.” She went on to explain: “It was like a beautiful wreath and you could hang it, it was really so great. And so that was when you know I think for both of us it was completely like there were no weird feelings.”
