Nnamdi Kanu: It May Take Two Years To Get Justice

Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has expressed outrage that it would take him two years to get justice.

This was as Kanu expressed his displeasure and sadness over the adjournment of his appeal by the Supreme Court.

He disclosed this during his routine meeting with his special counsel, Aloy Ejimakor, at the Department of State Services (DSS) facility in Abuja.

In a tweet, Ejimakor wrote: “I just exited from visiting Mazi Nnamdi Kanu at the DSS, Abuja. Expectedly, #MNK expressed his profound displeasure & sadness over the adjournment of his Supreme Court appeal to Sept 14. He was outraged that it may now take over 2 years to get him the justice he deserves.

“Sadly, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s case before the Supreme Court has again been adjourned to 14th September 2023.

“As unacceptable and legally injurious as this is, we have no other choice than to live with this sad development until then.”

The Supreme Court adjourned Kanu’s appeal until September 14 to hear it.
