Following the death sentence pronounced on 30-year-old Kano singer Yahaya Sharif-Aminu by an Upper Shari’a Court sitting in the State, Nigerians have trooped out on social media, dragging Governor Ganduje.
Aminu was found convicted for blasphemy and found guilty for an audio post (a song he composed) he made on WhatsApp back on the 28th of February.
He was said to have hurt the feelings of Muslims faithful as he made a blasphemous post against Prophet Mohammed (SAW) via a WhatsApp group platform named Gidan Umma Abiha at about 8:00 p.m. and 11:50 p.m on the fateful day, and was dragged to court where he pleaded guilty and was sentenced to death by hanging.

Reacting, Nigerians took over the streets of Twitter to argue that the Sharia law favours the rich in the Northern society and not the poor, They then dragged Governor Ganduje in, wondering why Sharia law had not ordered his amputation when he was seen on camera stashing his babariga with dollars. Sharia Torture School In Kano, Nigeria..
Christians Who Don’t Believe In prophet Mohammed & Islam Are Taken Here. This is What Buhari, Ganduje, Bashir Consent To & Believe In. That’s Why Boko Haram Remains Undefeated. Curse Be Unto Lord Lugard For This Unity…#RejectNigeria pic.twitter.com/GSmivEQ5K0

The tragedy of this Sharia law practice in the North is that the poor will always suffer. If it was truly followed, Ganduje would be an amputee. https://t.co/yZOGOT6b4K
