Niniola and DJ Snake team up for “Maradona Riddim”!
The new single, titled “Maradona Riddim,” premiered on Thursday as Zane Lowe’s World Record on Beats 1 on Apple Music. During Snake’s Beats 1 appearance, the 32-year-old producer spoke about his and Niniola’s “Maradona Riddim” and his upcoming sophomore album, which he began teasing back in May.
DJ Snake confirmed the project would include appearances by Zayn Malik, Ozuna, and Cardi B, but didn’t reveal an expected release date.
“I’m trying to finish now. It’s really hard to be on the road,” he said. “I just need some more time, but I’m not trying to rush anything. Greatness takes time, so I don’t know. I don’t know. To be honest, I don’t know. I have no idea.”
Niniola is one of the Nigerian music stars nominated for the 2018 BET Award along with Davido and Tiwa Savage. She’s popular for her hit songs including “Maradona,” “Sicker,” and “Soke,” and “Magun” which remix featured South Africa’s Busiswa.
