Nigeria’s Bukola Bolarinwa Gets Awarded By Queen Elizabeth In The UK

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth has honoured Bukola Bolarinwa, a 28-Year-Old Nigerian lady with the commitment to raising awareness about sexual health.The Queen presented Bukola with a Queen’s Young Leaders Award at a special ceremony held at Buckingham Palace that was also attended by His Royal Highness Prince Harry who joined The Queen in congratulating the winners.Bukola is the founder of Haima Health Initiative, an online blood donation platform which supports hospitals who struggle to find blood in a safe and timely way.The Queen’s Young Leaders Awards programme, which is now in its third and penultimate year celebrates exceptional young people aged 18 to 29 in the Commonwealth who are driving change within their communities and transforming people’s lives. From tackling bullying head-on in schools, to preserving the environment, to promoting gender equality, these young people are taking the lead in driving change in their communities.Photo Credit: Getty
