Amidst the many criticisms he and his administration is getting, President Muhammadu Buhari has indirectly sent words to his critics who think he has failed and is not doing anything, saying the impact of his projects will be felt after he leaves office in 2023.
Recall that the major opposition People’s Democratic Party PDD had slammed when he earlier said he doesn’t want to leave office a failure. The PDP described his statement as medicine after death, adding that the President is already a failure in governance and will leave a failure.
The President, after inaugurating the new board of the Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority NSIA at a brief ceremony which held at State House, Abuja on Wednesday, again, insisted his administration is working.

President Buhari restated his administration’s commitment to implementing long term projects and programmes that create jobs for Nigerians. He said the full impact of most of the strategic projects started under his watch would only be felt long after he had left office.
