As things heightened with the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic, Access bank has reportedly decided to slash its staff’s salaries and Nigerians are really angry.
The slash is not the main point of anger but the fact that Access Bank management had donated a whooping sum of 1 billion naira to the Federal Government in a bid to support the fight against COVID-19.
According to reports, the slash was said to be starting from May unless the business conditions improve. 75% of the outsourced staff are likely to lose their jobs while the full-time staff may have salary slash of up to 40% starting with the MD.
