BBC Africa is currently been dragged through the street of Twitter after it described the newly re-elected President of the AFDB the Nigerian Economist Akinwumi Adesina as the “Flamboyant banker” who today became the first person to be re-elected as the President of the African Development Bank AFDB. 
The BBC has been criticised for its choice of words calling Mr Akinwumi Adesina a Flamboyant banker that was recently cleared of corruption allegation despite him just achieving an unprecedented feat at being re-elected the president of the 5 most powerful multi-national regional banking institution.
