Nigerian Police Move Offa Robbery Suspects To South West For Arms Recovery

Operatives of the Nigerian Police Force are currently carrying out a sweep operation in several South-West states to arrest other suspects involved in the April 5 Offa bank robberies and recover firearms hidden by the gang members.
According to Punch, 7 masterminds behind the robberies are taking police investigators to their hideouts in Kwara, Ondo, Osun, Oyo and Ekiti states where they were believed to have hidden stash of firearms.

The Nigerian police had earlier revealed that the armed robbers carted away 21 AK47 rifles during the gruesome attack on the Offa Police Divisional Headquarters where they killed several policemen before they attacked the banks where they stole millions of naira and killed almost 40 people.
