Nigerian Fashion Enthusiast Dimeji Alara Debuts His First Cover For Elle South Africa

Nigerian stylist, journalist and editor Dimeji Alara following his appointment as Fashion Editor of ELLE Magazine South Africa have produced his first cover for the magazine. As first reported by BN, the cover was photographed by Jacques Weyers and it features Brazilian model Deise and South African model Mieke both wearing Gucci Pre-fall 2017. Dennie Pasion worked on the talents hair and makeup for the shoot that took place at the newly opened Zeitz MOCCA; The Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa in Cape Town. The MOCCA is set to launch a costume institute in 2018, becoming the only major museum with a dedicated focus on the contemporary costume in Africa. The costume institute’s mission is to acquire a representative collection of the contemporary costume by designers from Africa and its Diaspora.
