Nigerian Air Force Deploy 2 Helicopters To Zamfara State

The Nigerian Air Force has deployed two helicopters to Zamfara state to curb the growing rate of terrorism and insecurity.

The Air force stated that the deployment was made to support the 207 Quick Response Group Air Force Base in the state in the war against unknown gunmen and alleged killer herdsmen in the state.

The urgent deployment was made after the state governor, Abdul’aziz Yari, announced his resignation from the position of the Chief Security Officer in the state, over the unending operations of some deadly bandits in the state.
Other security agencies like; the Nigerian Army, Police and Department of State Services has also deployed more security operatives to the state.
