Shade Ladipo, the media personality, has taken a swipe at Burna Boy, the Afro-fusion singer, for not being vocal about the election.
Burna Boy earlier revealed that he has never supported any candidate because he doesn’t want to influence people’s choices and have them disappointed.
“I don’t know why it’s such a big deal to some Nigerians that I’ve not been vocal about the elections. Personally, I don’t have a candidate that I believe in,” he had said.

“I’ve never supported any political party or candidate in my life because I don’t want to make you vote and then blame me when the person fucks up as usual. That being said, I hope all votes count and the best man wins.”

His reasons for not being active during elections were, however, unconvincing to some Nigerians on social media.
Reacting to the singer’s remark via Instagram the media personality described Burna Boy as a “clown and an opportunist who only uses Nigerian and African issues to promote his music.”
Ladipo also slammed Burna Boy for not using his influence to create political awareness.
