Nigeria Has Become Attractive To Kidnappers – Masari

The way kidnappings has sprout up in different states of the nation back to back, especially in the past few weeks has left many wondering what exactly is going on, and Governor Aminu Bello Masari of Katsina has spoken on how the nation has become a sugar for the bandits’ ants.
Masari appeared on Channels TV’s Politics Today on Wednesday, speaking on the state of insecurity in the country, especially the Northern region.Katsina Governor Aminu Masari
He strongly opposed the idea of granting blanket amnesty to the bandits, as requested by the bandits-negotiating Islamic scholar, noting that Nigeria has now become economically attractive to kidnappers and bandits within the Sahel region of the continent.
