Nigeria Confirms It’s 2nd Coronavirus Case

Nigeria records its 2nd case of the novel coronavirus, the 2nd person made contact with the Italian businessman who was the 1st recorded case diagnosed case in Nigeria.

The Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire, revealed this in a press briefing on Monday morning, March 9th, 2020.

According to the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC), the 2nd case made contact with the Italian businessman in Ogun State who was the first person diagnosed with the novel coronavirus in Nigeria.
The NCDC stated that the patient has been in isolation and was tested as part of its strategy to test everyone the Italian has made contact with.Coronavirus
Nigeria recorded her first case of the virus when the Italian businessman landed in Lagos, the country’s most populous city, late February.
