It was an emotional match but finally, the Super Eagles of Nigeria finally bowed out of the 2018 FIFA World Cup. This came after Argentina sealed a late 2-1 win. Things began to move emotionally fast when Messi, who scored in the 14th minute. Javier Mascherano grabbing his attacker inside the box resulted in a VAR-confirmed penalty kick which saw Victor Moses taking advantage of, by scoring a fantastic goal levelling the scoreline.
