Governor El-Rufai’s son, Bashir has stated that Nigeria and the North in particular need to create and implement family-friendly policies that will help check the population bulge.
He stated this while urging Nigerians not to insult his lineage because the truth needs to be told.

Taking to his Twitter handle to share this opinion, Bashir wrote;
”It is a fact. Nigeria as a whole, and Northern Nigeria in particular need to create & implement citizen/family friendly policies to address our population bulge. Let’s look ourselves in the mirror & tell ourselves the truth. Abeg don’t insult my lineage. It just has to be said.”
