Niger State House of Assembly first female majority leader, Haija Binta Mamman, has been impeached on Thursday, December 24th. 
The Niger female lawmaker was impeached by members of the State house of Assembly during plenary on grounds of her misuse of office. 
An official statement revealing why the former leader was impeached or the number and names of the lawmakers that supported the action against her is yet to be released by the house of assembly.
