Following an order by the Supreme Court to Amaju Melvin Pinnick to comply with a lower court’s order compelling him to vacate the office of President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), he has just snagged a new appointment. According to reports, Pinnick has been appointed as 1st Vice President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF). Amr Fahmy, CAF’s Secretary General, signed the letter that announced the appointment of Pinnick into the position. Pinnick replaced Ghana’s Kwesi Nyantakyi who following an undercover investigation that revealed he dropped the name of the Ghanaian President in shady deals, stepped down. Photo Credit: Getty
