UK Prime Minister, Theresa May, Ban The Entire British Government From Attending The 2018 World Cup In Russia Over Spy Poisoning

The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Theresa May, officially banned all members of both the British government and the British royal family from attending the highly anticipated 2018 World Cup in Russia, over the attempted murder of a Russian double agent in England.
The former Russian secret agent, Sergei Skripal, was jailed in Russia in 2006 for selling secrets of the Russian government to British intelligence officers.
He was released four years later as part of a spy swap deal, after which, he started living in England. He was being visited by his 33-year-old daughter, Yulia, when they were both poisoned in an attack British officials are blaming on the Russian government.
Theresa May has already deported 23 Russian diplomats from the country. She also halted Russian Foreign Minister, Sergei Lavrov from his planned visit to Britain. Hopefully, the ban will not be extended to the English football team.Photo Credit: Getty
