Spain Vs Russia: Team News, Lineup, Start Time And Many More

The whole world will be watching on Sunday afternoon, as Spain lock horns with the 2018 FIFA world cup host nation, Russia, at the Luzniki stadium at 3:00pm.

Russia will be hoping to bounce back from their 3-0 loss to Uruguay when they face 2010 champions Spain in the knockout stage of the 2018 FIFA world cup on Sunday afternoon.

The Russian team were in high spirits in their opening two group fixtures when they won against Saudi Arabia and Egypt, though tasted their first defeat in their final game against Uruguay, who have a perfect record this competition with four consecutive victories having subsequently beaten Portugal in the last 16.
Spain came out on top in their group ahead of Portugal thanks to VAR intervention and, following a disappointing 2014 world cup campaign when they failed to defend their title, they will be looking to progress far in Russia this summer.

Possible Lineup:

Spain: De Gea; Carvajal, Ramos, Pique, Alba; Busquets, Thiago; Iniesta, Isco, Silva; Costa
Russia: Akinfeev; Fernandes, Kutepov, Ignashevich, Zhirkov; Gazinksky, Zobnin; Samedov, Golovin, Cheryshev; Dzyuba
