Donald Trump’s viral media spat with Stormy Daniels took another turn this week as former New York mayor, Rudy Giuliani revealed that the American President paid his long-time lawyer Michael Cohen for a $130,000 payment made to the porn star.
Speaking in an interview with Fox News, Giuliani – who is currently on Trump’s legal team – claimed that “they funneled it through a law firm and the president repaid it”.
Giuliani said: “That was money that was paid by his lawyer, the way I would do, out of his law firm funds or whatever funds, it doesn’t matter. The president reimbursed that over a period of several months.”
Stormy has been in the new for over two months now, after she claimed she had an affair with Trump in 2006 and was paid the sum as part of a “hush agreement.”
