Popular Instagram model, Nadinne Bruna will suffer eye problems for the rest of her life after a surgery to change her eye color rendered her temporarily blind.
The 32-year-old model, wanted light grey eyes instead of hazel, but ended up losing 80 per cent of her vision in her right eye and 50 per cent in her left eye.
Nadinne, who lives in Miami, had to fly to Colombia for the surgery due to the fact that it was not approved in the United States. The surgery, which usually came at a very expensive price, costed Nadinne around $3,000 with a condition that she posted about it on social media.
However, the post-surgery problems has plunged her and the surgeons into deep waters as she was plagued with several eye problems after the surgery.
A team of Ophthalmologists tried to remove the dangerous implants in September and Nadinne had to undergo sight-saving surgery to treat glaucoma in November. As a result, the model has lost 80 per cent of vision in her right eye and 50 per cent in her left eye, and will have to deal with the consequences of the surgery for the rest of her life.
