President Muhammad Buharis has congratulated billionaire businessman, Mike Adenuga on turning 65 on Sunday.

In a statetment by the president’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, Buhari joins family, friends and the business community in congratulating Adenuga, who he claimed rose from a modest background, defied many odds, and realized his dream of setting up and grooming successful companies in the oil and gas, banking and telecom sectors.
“The President commends the business mogul’s deep sense of loyalty and patriotism by investing in sectors that have created jobs for many Nigerians and added strong value in the provision of effective services that make life easier and more comfortable for many in the country, and across the African continent,” the statement reads.
Forbes has estimated Mike Adenuga’s present net worth at $5.1 billion, which makes him the second-wealthiest Nigerian behind Aliko Dangote, with a net worth of $13.1 billion. His mobile phone network, Globacom, is the second largest operator in Nigeria, with 37 million subscribers.
