Cristiano Ronaldo says joining Juventus is a new stage in his life and he’s focused to show Italians what he can do.

Juventus presented their record signing on Monday, after Ronaldo and his agent had agreed a €100m deal to complete his move from Real Madrid, which 50m euros would be paid immediately and the other 50m euros would arrive within a year.“It was a simple decision, taken a long time ago,” Ronaldo told reporters at his official presentation. “My colleagues and friends told me it was a club where I could play. It wasn’t difficult. “This is an important step in my career because it is a great club, with a great president, and great supporters.”

“I think about today and not about the future. I like challenges, as I have done throughout my career, which has been a real dream. “I could not think of winning what I have won. I have new challenges and I am sure everything will be fine, as it has been in the past,” he adds. Ronaldo continued to say he made history at Manchester United and Real Madrid and “I want to do it here” in Italy. “Players of my age go to China or Qatar. The challenge here at Juve makes me super happy. “I will never turn my back on my country. I will continue in the Portuguese national team.”
