Argentina recorded a bad start to their campaign last week when they were held to a 1-1 draw against world cup new comers, Iceland.

Lionel Messi was criticized by many as the flop of the match, after he failed to score a penalty kick that could have easily give them the much needed win. Several pundits have attributed their shambolic opening performance to the somewhat “reluctant” attitude of the players to achieve anything in the match.

Croatia on the other hand, will be flying high with a good morale on Thursday evening, after they steamrolled the Super Eagles of Nigeria in their opening match.
The cohesive and coherent nature of the Croatian team will pose a huge threat to Argentina, as they hope to seal the required six points to proceed to the knockout stage of the tournament. The match will kickoff at 7:00 pm
